Do you have any idea how bad I want those Denons after the competition's new gear? They blow the oldtimers out the park! Edit: is there a way of setting one player as the master deck, and are you able to do the echo down to 1 millisecond?

I'm an owner of the SC5000's and X1800, which has like 99% of the functionality of the SC6000's and X1850, and the same general layout. If you mean setting a player as the master player for things like sync (like how on pioneer CDJ's you can just press Master), it's complicated. You have to press sync on the player you want as the master player, and while you don't have to use sync, it is a little less easy and more obtuse compared to just being able to press the master button. While you have multiple players with sync activated, you can select the master deck by hitting the master button. Regarding setting the echo to 1 ms, that is totally possible, if you're talking about the main FX section. You just select echo with the fx selection knob, and you can crank the timing down all the way to 1ms using the timing knob. Hope this answered your questions.

From my personal experiance as an advanced DJ, I have my 2 CDJ's set on channel 1 & 4 on my mixer. For me it's a lot more comfortable when I'm switching the bass and working the faders without having trouble with the space between my hands. It's easier to turn the knobs. Maybe Luke feels the same. 👍
