Yes, well said. Shankar has not changed his style of directing, but he still sticks to the Gentleman movie pattern. Even though he spends a lot of money on songs, they aren’t as good as before. Earlier, A.R. Rahman put in a lot of effort and dedication to make the songs successful, which is why movies like Jeans and Indian were so well-received. Rahman’s music was a key reason for their success. However, Shankar now Sadly, this makes his approach feel outdated. Shankar's approach feels 20 years outdated. Spending money isn't the issue, but over-investing in each frame without focusing on content and a strong story is not good. Audiences want good movie with latest trend.
