You must still be very young, I'm glad that you grew up watching such great films! Wallace and Gromit are must see films if you love stop-motion animation. Also Wes Anderson's films are beautiful.

@@boilaknezzi8974 I agree, Nick Park films will always have a special place in my heart just like Burton of course. 😅 And I just started to know Anderson with Isle of Dogs back in 2018 I think? I just wonder why all of these stop animation films always have those bitter sweet feeling that I tend to love. Definitley any youngster should look into.. well any age perhaps w/ some precaution of some films because some of them can get a little dark 😂

Y'all I'm so sorry this movie didn't get the appreciation it deserved when it came out, I rewatched the movie, cause I didn't remember anything about it from when I saw it a few years back. It was such a fun movie, and of course, Laika makes gorgeous stop motion animations, so there was no surprise but I couldn't help but be in awe at the garbage cave (i forgot the name) it's so lively and beautifully rendered. This movie deserves so much appreciation ❤️

Because stop motion is so expensive and yet not the most profitable. Unlike regular animation where you draw it or create it in a computer, you literally have to BUILD these. If you remember Corpse Bride? The actors of that movie weren't even paid. They did it because they loved the process. But it's not the most appreciated medium of filmmaking. Which I agree is absolutely horrible. It's MY FAVORITE film medium.
