Are we just going to skim over the fact the woman is 42 and hasn’t fought in years, plus if we’re being brutally honest she wasn’t all that great even in her prime, being Ali’s daughter doesn’t give her a pass, If Ann Wolf was coming out of retirement then I’d sit up and take notice

At one point, Shields did respect Ali but as she was coming up, Ali never edified or spoke good about her. Ali always talked good about other female fighters coming up and not mentioning Shields at all. She feels neglected and disrespected bc Ali never mentioned her when it comes to female boxing. That’s why she has a chip on her shoulder. That’s why she called out Laila.

Ms.Lalia Ali is just using the idea of facing Ms Clarissa Shields to bring more awareness to her various business venture ( gold digger). Ms.Lalia Ali no reason for Ms Clarissa Shields to call you out for what reason? No promotions company believe you Lalia put it on paper and sign. laila needs to sit down. i don't even like shields, but shields will take her on a dog walk. laila has over a decade of ring rust. she will get her ass kicked. leave your ego at the door laila. claressa is a multiple olympic medalist, undefeated, and champion in multiple divisions. your time have passed. be a wife, mother, and a businesswoman. js

Nigerian Jefe that is a possibility, but she is not her father. laila is 42 and haven't been in a fight in 13 years. claressa haven't even hit her prime yet. she can be in shape working out in the gym, but its not the same as getting into fighting shape. women's boxing is a different animal then when laila was in her prime. i am sorry, but her ego is going to get a reality check. laila was a great fighter, but she is past her prime. she is not her father and she needs to realize that. an upset can happen, but i highly highly doubt it. i just don't want to see her get tuned up because some youngster is popping off at the mouth. laila has nothing to prove. she should take it as a compliment and move on. as stated, i can't stand claressa shields. i think she has no class outside the ring. she disrespected mma without viable cause, called out the baddest female mma fighter looking for the female version of mcgregor and mayweather, and didn't take up the response when nunes said if she wants to fight her, come to mma. my sensei told me one has to be a champion in and outside of the ring and to me shields doesn't exudes that. i think she is an arrogant big mouth that can bang. her record is undeniable . laila's record is undeniable too, but fighting has a shelf life and her shelf was 13 years ago. youth is a huge factor in sweet science and combat itself whether boxing, mma, etc. if this fight happens and if i am wrong, then like ali said to the critics " i will eat my words" (mouth open like the picture of ali back in the day ). i wish her luck, but i truly think she has nothing and i mean absolutely nothing to prove. 🤙🤙🤙

Luis Navarro i am not saying she is not in shape. she looks incredible, but fighting has a shelf life. her time have passed and i honestly think true fans of the ali legacy would think the same. i don't want to see laila get whooped. i really don't, but shields is a savage. she is fast, has heart, and is a dog in the ring. she has the eye of the tiger something laila haven't had in decades. 🤙🤙🤙. laila is on that " without some war to fight, then the warrior might as well be dead stallion" mindset (rocky iv reference when rocky was trying to convince apollo not to fight drago). lol. case and point, she has nothing to prove. 🤙🤙🤙
