I never thought that Laila was cocky. If she was cocky with regards to her words, you should listen to some of Joey's remarks as well. I just thought of it as part of the show. How boring would it be if all the contestants were just appreciating everyone else. It's a fun, yet honest response in her side and I believe that's part of her appeal why she stayed long in the competition.

"Good dancers" transition from "no dancing"- BUT she had a natural rhythm and grace you didn't see in others. She was NOT cocky -in any way, and FAR from being a sore loser. Apparently, there were MANY others who got and appreciated her sense of humor.

No, it was just the way they edited it. It was a touching moment during the interviews that they tape all along. I didn't get the impression that they knew they were going home at all, she was just choked up about all that she had been through so far.

i wonder what would have happened if Laila and Maks won . Maks would probably be jumping up and down and hugging Laila, and i would been SO happy for them!

I'm glad Laila & Maks were eliminated first in the finale because they were both too cocky. From the beginning of the season they were so sure they were the best and gonna take the trophy. Joey & Apolo are both better dancers and have better attitudes. To me it didn't matter who was gonna win between Apolo & Joey. I loved them both!!!

so wait...you didnt want joey to win..but it was okay that drew won?? just asking. i definitely dont think the fans got it right this season..mel shouldve won..she was clearly the best dancer at the end. after all..the show is DANCING with the stars. just my opinion though. i definitely loved laila!! she was my favorite on season 4! thanks for posting this!
