I still find it crazy that english Xiao is voiced by a woman. She did an impressive job, making this character sound like a young man who has been suffering for a very long time. Most women who play as male characters often give them higher pitch voices to convey youth, innocence, or a childish personality, but Xiao's EN VA made him sound like a young looking warrior who has been fighting for centuries and it has taken a great toll on his mind and body.

12:35 boil over is an example of why we cant have perks that have multiple effects, even if theyre interrelated. You cannot conceivably make a perk that increases struggle power AND gives bonus progression under certain conditions AND hides hooks without having to seriously nerf all three concepts to the perk. Even still with the way boil over is, if someone takes me to a high plane and i see the boilover icon when i pick, im dropping and bleeding them out. I dont care how unfun it is, im not going to deal with someone shoving their perk down my throat when i do my best to play fun with fun perks and virtually no slowdown. The survivors who come to me in EGC or my chat complaining about the bleedout are some of the most braindead people in this playerbase. You cannot conceivably bring a perk and expect to not get some kind of reaction to it. Thats kind of the whole point of bringing the "unhookable" build. The people who refuse to participate in normal gameplay and just sit up top to force perk value are the reason perks like boilover will never be meta or good perks again. Boil over cant get buffed, because we've seen what people will do because of it. There will always be that one guy who does shit like that and then complains about his favorite perks being too weak or the killers bullying them when its their own actions that get in the way of what they want. People like that are why you see the phillip (wraith) players that have snapped and just start slugging everyone to death with the slugma nuts build. These people at some point got so fed up with it that they decided to play to satisfy their vendetta, and i cant say i blame them, even if it is pretty shit to take it out on everyone else. Anyways, this has been my tedtalk on why you should USE your perks, not ABUSE your perks. Thank you for coming to my tedtalk.
