Hal P. Sometimes Rube Goldberg works too hard for his own good. Good with a video camera is no sign of genius. Geniusy yes, genius no. Just a whole lot ingenuity and hard work is a waste or makes huge trouble in the future. Playing pool with a woods is harder than you all think. Cutting a few trees is disastrous and super expensive in the future troubles. One ought to have a drink and relax watching trees grow. I own 300 acres of them and have much experience at age 72.

For the outdoor shower cubby consider adding rigid foam insulation inside when you're done in the fall getting ready to close things up for winter. This might help with critters hiding in there also.

We had 2 pine trees 🌲🌲 come down on the power lines at the campground in a couple months time. The electrician for the power company said, pine 🌲 trees are weak trees in storms and are known for coming down. So keep an eye on those too if you have them.

Sweet! Also glad YOU are going to take out those tall trees around your place, in my Montana world we call them "widow makers", unexpected falling tree is so so dangerous. After bringing down those trees you can plant low bushes that stay green all year round, in the rainy season they will help reserve the soil erosion that the creek will do, but also those scrubs will " soak up " excess water. Just a thought :-)

Loftis Party of Six - weROAM . My advice as the owner of a larger timber tract in the Illinois timber improvement program is that you study wlove a little more. Each species of trees drops chemicals that make it good for certain types of ground cover. Ground cover prevents erosion on slopes. Without trees in a woods you grow weeds as grass requires a lot of sunlight that surrounding trees provide. And the house is on sloppier ground in a woods. Under trees is risky and you have to accept that or GET OUT FOR YOUR OWN GOOD mind. You worry too much. You’re normal for an uneducated goofy city guy. It is never good to live in a woods, but if you do it pays to study Forestry before you begin. On a slope you want trees to prevent bad erosion which is expensive and more trouble than tree limbs. Go back to town and don’t build in a woods. Try Wyoming not MO. Look up “Trent and Allie” here on KZbin as they’re making the same error right now in Utah. Rubes. I’ve been in landscaping as an occupation and that’s a big one that you show no signs of understanding, too. Further and just like people trees in a group protect each other. Wind is forced up over them by the group and if you cut down one or more wind gets down under them and is good at knocking BIG ones down. Silly. Live in the woods and leave the trees alone. You’re a lot like any jungle animal which are not benefitted at all by open skies. Go back to town, guy. You’re too chicken and dumb. I’m 72 and have 300 acres of trees on you, too. Be careful. You’re good at talking at a selfie stick. Good luck.

Be careful and don't cut to many trees. It will make your home more hot and also soil erosion issues might happen.

I have around 60 hats, mostly fitted name brands, yours definitely looks legit. I recommend putting them on Amazon and ebay, they will sell if you stay around 13-16 dollar range, the higher the less you will move of course, me I would pay $13.85 at the most. Otherwise I wouldn't buy. To be honest.

There's a phenomenon in some trees called Summer Drop, where trees will shed large sections for no apparent reason. Yeah, cut back the trees.

CB Guest Summer drop..... LOL. Trees have diseases just like you. It causes trouble. Wind racks them around causing cracks that disease and fungus enter and eventually rot can set in and Trees drop weakened limbs and big parts due to the weight of water as leaves pick up water weight. Or they just fall over because the roots are insufficient tontake wind pressure. A few trees on the south side of a home cool and that’s all the trouble you need and can be PLENTY. It’s not a party out there and you’re not prepared.

Why do you put walls up on the outside shower? Then it is not outside anymore.. one wall wood have been enough. And why not bild the floor out of treared lumber ? Concrete is hard on your feet.

Trees rot, usually due to termites or other pests completely normal. Yes thank God your kids were not there
