For those who have the problem that they can't drag the element to the Jframe: - Delete the libraries by clicking on "libraries" -> "properties" and remove the ones you added - Now it is going to add the libraries again but instead of "Add/Jar Folder" they give it better in "Add Library..." - Once the libraries are added, select your project, right click and click "clean and build" And ready you can drag :)

@@LaingRaven I have an issue with part 2. When trying to add the pin icon png with ImageIcon, I get this error when clicking add marker on the actual map. Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "java.net.URL.toExternalForm()" because "location" is null
