As an infernoid player I love seeing more LoD shenanigans

I’m happy you said that because I just went on a tear for 8 games straight with a LOD deck leveling up in Duelist Cup. I got to level 19 with it I wanted to upload the time thief video but I think people would want to see these duels. I feel like this is the most optimized version of LOD.

Waiting to use Lilith’s tribute until the battle phase is actually really sound advice. Thanks for that gem!

No problem at all, its all about timing and reserving your resources. 🔥🚀

And here I thought I was the only person who thought up this deck concept lol. thanks for tips and playing something creative brother

Sir how lucky you was to keep lair of darkness on the field for more than a single turn, ive played it in a invoked virus build and while the deck is just brutal; i usually get my lair destroyed by the opponent asap lol. That being said i am a fan of the slower but big impact playstyle. I agree with you on the feeling on playing against a combo deck, it makes no sense to sit there and watch people play solitaire. I wish i could offer you some advice or choices for your build but im too old of a player to do so. Keep up the with content

Thank you for taking a moment to share your feedback and comment. I definitely understand your frustration with LOD getting removed by the opposition quickly as well. It’s hit or miss for me honestly, I typically have a good back row to help like metaverse or other negates to stop them from going into their plays. I’m working on a new LOD video now actually that will come out after this time thief one and it’s focused on Pharaoh Advert combo with it.

You should try trap trick instead of trap tracks works better with the deck

You can update this variant with the new ones they added from Unchained?

1:45 im also not much for Combo play. makes me and synchros suffer as a pair to be honest. I prefer my slower playstyles. 5:12 Yugioh wording peaks in again and says hello. also, Speedroids are a synchro deck i kind of favor. 9:44 ive been debating running time-tearing in Runick and other slower decks of mine for awhile now... it's an interesting option. 14:53 life potion FTK. about the only way we see the new Utopia/Hope cards used nowadays. it takes advantage of the number monster summon of that Hope to set that up, and theres a few ways to set up the pieces turn 1. 15:14 at this point it's just playing the game. blind seconding nouvelles, everybody knows to put their stuff in defense now, including the player randomly packing DPE in a pure zoo build that i have to spend even longer trying to pick apart, trying to do a confiras line just to make something happen. or the people whos decks end their combos on a macro cosmos-like effect (looking at Heros and -tira) so my deck has no grind game anymore. had a synchro combo player randomly drop nemesis corrodor-thunder dragon colossus backed by a baron, chengying, and my hand was nearly all search. it's just how it is, like when i get bad draws in pokemon's TCG, sometimes you just have to scoop or the scoops called for you. and I come from Cardians and Paleos, decks that might take you out before your opponent has a chance due to bad draw or tempo. 15:58 speak of the devil. even in the decks that abuse narcotics and punting of the small. 17:12 the entire nouvelles deck doesn't have an animation right now despite releasing it. it's a possible animation target. personally, I'm at an anger point with the deck, and don't tend to care for animations, so im not going to be the one who calls for it. 20:49 definately not knowledgable about unchained but... why not check over that archetype along with what others have come to for ideas. more draw power is definitely a good play. I surely don't need to tell you cards that can make use of lair itself... none of the pots seem to pan out, so maybe another triple would work, though i don't recommend it. any thoughts on Thrust?

I knew I couldn’t be the only one who enjoyed the slower play styles. Where it isn’t a quadruple negate board turn one that the second player has to figure out how to break with only 3 cards left in their hand to start because player one has already destroyed two of them 😂. Thanks for sharing what the name of that FTK is I wasn’t sure what it was called but it’s definitely cheesy for sure. I think I’ll add Time tearing to the toon deck profile in working on for my next video actually. I haven’t played with Nouvelles but I’m always a fan of any ritual based deck. It takes a lot for them to really be competitive and a really good pilot in my opinion. Thanks for sharing your feedback on this video, I only did 5 ranked duels this time and one live one. I think I’ll make the next one 6-7 duels I don’t think I showcased enough combos of the deck in these duels this time honestly. Now that I’m watching it back again myself.

@@YugiSmoove but Smoove, thats playing the game, though. it's toTally difFerent and counterable compared to decking the right kind of backrow removal!1!1!1!2. sorry, just got through reading another TCG player who thinks using runick as multiple copies of instant fusion is galaxy brain superior to playing a deck that can mill effectively like a mill deck, so therefore i must be a fool to prefer not having to wait 5-10 extra minutes for the same end result yet again that i could have done to or by me from a number of other decks. it's an old play by now, that FTK. apparently at least at one point it was entirely automated by someone. that'll be an interesting deck profile to check out for sure. i wanted to look at a way to run the card since i hardly use monster handtraps normally anyway, but I didn't take time on it. I like rituals myself, but Nouvelles really does have a piloting concern. It's not clicking for me. good luck on the next video!

@@DarkCT You are absolutely right, I actually stopped it once when I just so happen to have a imp trap in my hand and played it to stop the shenanigans. What's your primary deck you are using now anyways? I just ran a few duels and I beat vanquish through the maxx c and I beat kashtira. They were some pretty awesome duels. I also added kash to the deck but didn't even get a chance to use it.

@@YugiSmoove Sounds like you've been at it lately, very nice! right now.. it's not looking good on a primary. i broke down and crafted gate guardian to take in for a bit as well as tried to revive my go second zoo, but i guess my most stable decks right now are mikanko and Runick of all things. Im honestly waiting for Espirit/Shinobird to get it's new support wave, and for fun i might finally pull together U.A. those decks aside, i played an extended amount of Paleozoic, both in a pure and a Paleo-Exodia variant.

@@DarkCT Those sound like a lot of fun actually! Keep me posted if you find a primary you love.
