Julie Giroux was born on December 12, 1961. Her parents placed her under their Christmas tree for they felt she was the most important gift they had received that year. The first music she ever heard was Christmas music, that experience led her, later in life, to compose funny renditions of traditional Christmas carols, put them on cassettes, and gave them to her friends each year at Christmas. She arranged “Christmas With Mozart” in a Mozart-ish style using a number of Christmas carols in combination with a few of Mozart’s, Bach’s, and other composers’ works.
