Remember a few years ago being just off the summit of esk Pike eating me lunch, weather was doing its usual 😅 across and up and over to Scafell Pike for a bivy camp in the square shelter. Great video, nostalgic. Not been over that way since last September 😊

@@boolay75 across the valley from 3 tarns to Broad Stand is a total bog fest, waders needed 🤣🤦 when it's wet. But it's a lovely area 😁

That’s some trek from the NT campsite to Allen Crags Dave well done mate. Loved the time lapses nicely done pal. I camped around there last November plenty of nooks and crannies to pitch but I ended camping next to one of the tarns. I get asked ever time I’m on that stretch to seathwaite farm for Scafell Pike it’s a joke mate 🙄 Atb Karl 👍

@@boolay75The Great Moss valley is one of my favourite places very remote and usually quiet, you’ll love the scramble up fox’s gully, look forward to the video. 👍

@@TheSummitexplorer69 it looks quite straightforward going up foxes gullly, think I’d prefer it to lords rake, what’s the path up Cam Spout like?

@@boolay75 I've don't it in winter and summer both times boggy under foot try to cross the river around cam spout area. If you go pasted fox's gully to mickledore and then down to lords rake which is a great scramble and if your feeling brave go up the west wall traverse. Only reason I go up fox's gully is to collect water at the top from the tarn, so I'm not carrying it up lords rake.
