Thank you so much for this lovely film. I can’t believe I’ve lived on the periphery of the Lake District for over 40 years and have never visited Buckstones Jump. This has definitely inspired me, thanks to you. 🙏

www.walkinginthewild.co.uk/lake-district-waterfalls/buckstones-jump?rq=Rydal There is a map of the walk to Buckstones Jump on this page. A superb short walk with so many waterfalls 😁

Another great vid. And you got a new intro lol! I'll do that trip next. Can you keep doing the google maps thing at the beginning with the route so I know where to start? Preferably a free car park lol.
@WalkingintheWildwithJoeJackson3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Ian, I had to stop doing the maps because it took hours to do and sometimes never worked. I suppose I could include a post code or something for the start of each walk to help and car parking info

Wonderful channel dude :). Is this pay to play? I recently visted risen falls in ullswater which was lovely, very busy and cost to access. How's the parking there, and total length/duration? Sorry for so many questions- you have me excited! Thanks :)

Hi Ben, thanks! Entry into the Rydal Estate is free and there is a small area of free parking by the church. If no spaces then there is a pay and display just round the corner (think I paid £4 - something like that). Took me around 2.5 hrs but was filming so most people around 2 hrs. Also distance is about 5 miles :)

@@WalkingintheWildwithJoeJackson Oh fantastic, and sorry it was Aira force that I went too! But these look even better :) Have you done a video on the Rydal Cave?
@WalkingintheWildwithJoeJackson3 жыл бұрын
Aira Force is nice and even better if your NT member! No I dont think I have. Been there so many times but never done a video of it. Maybe next time I head up Loughrigg Fell I will include it!

Enjoyed doing this walk recently, but was concerned that I was on private land because the last metal gate was padlocked - which meant I had to climb over.
@WalkingintheWildwithJoeJackson2 жыл бұрын
That happened to me too, but there was a gentleman herding sheep and he said it was fine to climb over so I did. Felt like I was trespassing too!
