Chris' I've been in excavating for about 5 months. Sometimes dealing with truck drivers is the worst part lol. Been watching your channel for a year and never fully appreciated your skill until I hoped in an excavator. Got to say though, my favorite place is in the seat of a dozer! Keep it up man! Love the channel!

...I'm doing some clearing here in Texas as we speak and it's been raining since what seems like August. It's been cold and windy with a wind chill in the 20's for the past two days. I'm slopping around in the mud myself and it's as Chris says..."A god awful mess!" Glad to see we're not the only ones dealing with this mess!

We've had a tough season here in the philly area too...As you said; it seems like clear days are a rarity, and when we get them; you have so much stuff to catch up on that it's exhausting...I don't ever remember this many rainy days during the season in my 42 years outside...

I'd like to make a suggestion Chris, as much dredging you do and pond rebuilding why not invest in a Marsh buggy escalator. You wouldn't need mats , you could go in water, mud, creeks, retention ponds etc. ? Just a thought. I run airboats for survey and oil company seismic work in the marsh.easy to transport and they float!

By the time you have finished this job it's going to be the most hated place you worked on, and the job every other company in your state sees or hears about and wants nothing to do with when you won't do it next time. We had rain here in Manitoba about a day before it mostly froze up, and snowed hard again. The mostly bit is where it hadn't frozen properly as there was snow covering some wetter ground from rain before that. I was out in an area in the feedlot yard today pushing manure up with the backhoe, someplace's it fell through the ice crust and it was like being out in that pond. Tomorrows forecast is above freezing so that will just be wonderful where ever we go here in the yards, we were trucking grain out to but thats now canceled until Thursday if it freezes solid again. Thanks for the video, take care.

Could you not form a berm on the lake side of the Haul Road then at least you wouldn’t need worry about the lake again other than cleaning the bank off as you work your way along the material? Or does that Road need to remain open at all times? The reason I ask is you could also sheet it when not loading allowing it to drain off back into the lake.
