We were there several years ago and took the mail boat tour on the lake which was a blast. Will have to return and do your lakeside trail tour, but maybe in 2 days.

This lake is for Illinois people, it is the noisyest lake I have ever been on. Mostly rich snobby people espically in the Fontana area.
@baskets8429 Жыл бұрын
Interesting, any idea how people from Illinois took over a lake in Wisconsin? We’re the house prices inflated on purpose to drive potential buyers out ? I noticed the real estate here is going for crazy prices

Actually not too many here from Milwaukee. Milwaukeeans generally go north. (To avoid all the Chicagoans). :) By the way, your position at 4:54 was inaccurate. You were on the north shore just left of the blue dot indicating downtown Lake Geneva.

Thanks for the info : ) We’re looking forward to hiking here some more

Did you ever get confused trying to stay on trail? Was it easy to navigate?
@baskets8429 Жыл бұрын
very easy to navigate, compared to many other trails ive done had signs and just following along the path near the Lake, i took a wrong turn at some point which had me walking down some road for a few min but i think that was my own fault of just not paying attention.
