Lake goldsmith steam rally April 31 - may 1

Beautiful to watch! Dad dragged us out there every year for steam burgers and would always remind us ' the boy's ' are saving the steam up for the end! Many a great day exploring the treasures of lake goldsmith! Where's the piano/organ?

I love lake goldsmith I’ve been asked to make a Thomas the tank engine display there! I’ll be there when it’s on next!

I love it too, I been going for a few years. I only did a few displays there. This may I had a few small engines and a few years ago I had my steam engines in shed number 2 “hoppy’s shed”, I am not gonna do this October one but the next rally I think I will do the draught horse and yesterday rally in November at mont de lancy on November 26 and 27

@@bigbuffersproductions yep, November rally 2019. Unfortunately I wasn’t there but me mates were. The one I miss! Lucky no one was badly hurt. The only one hurt was a lady who had some wood fall on her but only a few scratches and bruises

@@anythingvintage2952it happened when me and my pop walked through the fount entrance all I heard was a Big Bang and a big lot of steam rise

@@bigbuffersproductions the rail it’s on is on a mound of dirt that get unstable when it rains and that night it was raining they put a timber plank under the rails to hold it, on the Saturday morning, it swung around to get the bucket attached but as it swung around the arm hit the plank of wood holding it up and tipped over
