Oh that’s so cool!! We don’t usually turn down Shady Maple but wanted to eat a little lighter that evening lol. We will definitely keep the rv dealership in mind as well. We have two family members considering buying in the next year.

We stayed here last weekend, just after picking up our new 192rbs. It's a nice place, staff is pleasant and eager to help. Very clean, nicely taken care of.

Beautiful place! We looked there for a seasonal site a couple years ago and there was a waiting list. As you know we have a seasonal site in Hidden Acres in Coatsville and we actually just moved from our home in Delco to Quarryville Pa. We love Lancaster County. I frequent the races every year except for last year. I stay at Sun valley campground a mile before the track. I make a week end out of it. You and the boy would love it! Park in the free section, they have a shuttle every 5 mins. If you camp at the track it's boon docking only. See you there!

We are from Lancaster County and totally LOVE Shady Maple. We also use Shady Maple RV for issues with our Rockwood Roo. I'm sitting at our site at Sun Valley Campground typing this. Which is also in Bowmansville not far from Narvon. Lake in Woods is on our list to try. Thanks for the review.

There is so much around. Some is a little bit of a drive but in Lancaster, the drive is beautiful

So glad you posted a video. We go pretty much exclusively to Thousand Trails since the price is right each time we go and they are close enough to us in MD to do a weekend camp. Just got back from PA Dutch Country in Manheim which was the first video of yours I ever watched. Took our dog there for the first time. Didn't notice the shooting range next door until this trip when she barked every time a shot boomed! 😂

So this is the third Campground that you guys have recommended that me and my family thought was very interested. We have been to one of the campground you recommended. My sister went to Lake in the wood years ago. She has been back 3 time. Maybe her fifth time will be with her brother

Lake in Wood is amazing.....Glad you guys enjoyed it! Oh yeah, Shady Maple Smorgasboard is insane....We usually hit it up for breakfast (can't beat it or the price for breakfast) but we'll also hit up the Shady Maple Supermarket and grab all our food and snacks there instead of bringing them all up. The supermarket has some unique stuff you usually can't find at home! Hopefully we'll see ya out on the trail soon! This weekend, we're headed up to Triplebrook Campground for a professional BBQ Competition. Saw your review on that spot, so we're looking forward to seeing it first hand!

Love Lake in the Wood Campground! It is well maintained, even the bathroom handles were ornate! The sites are nice and private. However, some sites you have to watch out for trees while backing up just like Whippoorwill Campground in New Jersey. We had to help out a newbie in Whippoorwill last weekend when I heard wood cracking as he backed into a tree with his new truck. Whippoorwill has excellent internet. Facebook pajama contest!

Took the kids there a few times. It is nice. Its hard to get in some of the sites though. Pretty tight with the trees. Nice place and the fishing was good at the lake. Shady maple is awesome lol. Love the food there. 😋. You need to be wheeled out of there.

Shady Maple is good, but if you're looking for another buffet near Lancaster with Amish homestyle cooking, check out Dienner's Country Restaurant in Ronks PA :-) Also.... I must add the Shady Maple Market has the BEST donuts and bakery!

Looks like a really nice campground. Shame for me though as it's only like 40 minutes away. I prefer places to camp that are at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours away. A 40 minute drive is too close.

Hi Stacey, we had t-mobile with decent reception. The Wifi was absolutely useless on our site (#200)

Eli left that first comment but I (Fawn) would like to say both were terrible. We couldn’t get wifi even to work and our phones had only reception to call. There was some better reception near the front gate and I was able to download some stuff there lol. Just thought I would give further feedback lol
