@@jquest43 - Just a few minutes ago I saw a KZbin thumbnail picture of a bunch of people dragging a shortnecked variant or possibly a cousin of one out of the water somewhere, I don't lnow what it was. I think a mesosaur has a much shorter neck and maybe that thing could be one but I really don't know that. I've seen stuff about other dinosaurs being real and I think the people reporting these things are telling the truth. I know from personal experience that some cryptids are real. Anyone who has been as close as I have been to one of these things is going to identify it correctly. I guarantee it. When you can move your hand 18 inches and touch one, you will know exactly what you are looking at. People tell me I must be mistaken. No. I'm not. They say it had to be a person or a bear. I was there and they weren't. People aren't normally 8 1/2 feet tall with rounded pointy heads set down low on 4 foot wide shoulders. I think the shoulders were actually wider than that. They aren't covered with hair either. Bears aren't really bipedal and the close one stayed upright when we chased it. Maybe I shouldn't have started the chases that had a screaming pack of squatches chasing us but I didn't like awakening in very dark woods twice with an 8 1/2 footer standing right next to me. I had 2 encounters that were virtually identical.

@@adammarquez5203 Mythical is the word. They are mythical. That’s why no one finds them. New animals are being discovered all the time in places far, _far_ more remote than lakes, rivers and forests. Robots are slowly and surely combing the depths of the oceans. These hostile environments are virtually alien to us, but many species call this zone of darkness home. This research seeks out the unknown _and continues to find it._ While cryptozoologists and monster hunters fail to find their cryptids decade after decade, biologists and zoologists and paleontologists are finding thousands of new species, extant and extinct. Cryptids are _modern_ myths and folklore. Monster hunters reduce them to biological organisms, misidentifying phenomena to temporarily support the monster traditions when the chance arises. Cryptozoology is a pseudoscience that commits a double error: it fails to understand the reality of myth and lore and so dooms itself to asking all the wrong questions. Sometimes I think some of these creatures are "mutant" variations of known species. I remember once fishing on the Genesee River near the Stutson Street Bridge, Rochester, New York in the 1970's and having a huge fish come for my bait that was a large black, "Gobi" with the 2 large eyes on the side of his head. I'm thinking many of the smaller pet Gobis were flushed down the toilet and made their way into the river where, as they are related to the carp, their eggs were cross-fertilized and like the giant "Golden Carp," here came the "Giant Gobis." Still Amazing with many "Cryptids yet to be found!! Also reminds me of this Ogopogo incounter? kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2Lbc6aVipaeeNU

I have a lot of cognitive dissonance about this subject. I saw something I've never been able to fully grasp when I went to Whidbey Island by Victoria Canada off the coast about 20 feet in front of me. It was (at least what I think was) a massive tail, about 8 feet long and 3 feet wide, undulating into the water. It was grayish white, perfectly smooth, came to a point at the end like a lizard tail, and left a very large wake that I watched hit the shore line. I stood there thinking it was a dream or something watching the wakes as it vanished trying to determine if it actually happened. I know of no animal with a tail like that. It had no flukes like a whale or fish. I haven't told anyone about this and still have doubts in my own mind that it wasn't real even though I saw it with my own eyes. It was like seeing a ghost or something. Since then I have thought about going back to try to find it.

There has been a lot of amazing advancements in high definition side scan sonar. It's nothing like the old sonar systems used to find these creatures from 20 years ago. They can show you large objects on the sea floor with perfect shape and clarity. Knowing how illusive they are, I suspect these creatures are a lot like bottom dwelling turtles that save their energy and just sit at the bottom of lakes for food to come to them. Some turtles can breath underwater and don't need to come to the surface for months. Obviously this is no turtle but if it is a reptile of sorts they could be related and have some of those behaviors. It would explain why they are rarely seen in open water. Advanced high definition side scan sonar might be able to give us a clear image of them of used. Currently the technology is very new and expensive. Military grade stuff, not like the crummy fish finder sonar people use.

Well, as per some descriptions in hindu scriptures, snakes can live under lakes, water bodies and seas and oceans. And they can create a network of caves , Underground tunnels within sea itself. Some are said to have mystical capabilities. And in hindu mythology, many snakes are known to worship lord shiva and other high and powerful hindu gods. Similarly, many snakes become Power and attain divinity by doing ascetic hardcore meditation upon gods. Some are simply unaware and just go by their animal instinct - just eating, sleeping and surviving.

An interesting selection, but strange music for a monster vid! I think the reservoir pictures at 42 mins show a decomposing animal carcass with the head and spine showing.

As a sea kayaker, lakes and rivers too, I've seen things people wouldn't believe. Yet, I've never once felt scared or hunted. Just curious, intrigued. I've traced their paths, looked for them for a long time, waited too, even got into the water a few times...but they always fade away like a dream...mysteriously so. Not once was I attacked or stalked.

One time, about 3 miles out into the sea, I came across a strange creature moving just beneath the water like some snake, a sidewinder motion causing a huge wake that just didn't make any sense - as by now I've gotten a clear picture of the usual animal and marine activity, yet this was different, huge too, I'd say the sidewinding movement was at least 30 ft long; and I seen a flash of silver/green just beneath the surface. Whatever it was, it was moving alongside me about 20ft away, almost a zig zag tracing pattern where it seems to be checking me out. I didn't see a head, or fins, just that strange sidewinding movement and silver/green mass. The water around my kayak and I, as well as the mysterious creature was glimmering a strange neon blue/purple/pink, too. It was around dusk, just as the sun was setting. This lasted for about 2 or 3 minutes before the creature just vanished into the deep moving out into the deeper ocean away from me. Curiosity satisfied. I had no time to reach for my phone, as the swell was pretty big, which is why I was able to see the silver/green flash of its mass, when each swell rose both of us higher. It was rather unnerving. I decided to turn into the swell, with the current and tide pulling me towards where it vanished and reached for my camera, waiting several minutes (couldn't risk it for longer as the swell really started to get rough) but nothing appeared again. The sunset and the swell, and the sense of being so small after seeing this made my hairs stand up. I'll never forget it. I even paddled on in the darkness, hoping it would join me again but it never did. @@CabezasDePescado

there's a clip I caught on a video about 2/3yrs ago, that was taken from a High vantage point above what looked like, a huge flooded Quarry, I'm sure it said it was in China, but could be wrong but it showed a huge Creature, making very large waves, and splash marks on the surface, of this lake it was enormous, and I've never been able to find this footage since, and I am Convinced this was real and not and kind of CGI, or Animatronics, as it was so far away, and so large, I don't suppose you have seen it or better have this clip? as it's the best, and most convincing footage I've ever seen. China, or Vietnam? it could be either, but was on a compilation video like this?

The lake monster footage from Thailand is the highlight of this excellent video. Film footage of these cryptids is gathered here in one mini-documentary. Giant eels, sea snakes, and sturgeons can be possible explanations, but there are probably more marine animals still unclassified and therefore unknown. 🤔🦑

- I don't know if any of this footage is of real cryptids or not but some cryptids are definitely real. Personal experience is usually a must or most people will never believe. Once you've seen one you don't believe in them, you know they are real. There is a big difference between those 2 things.

@@alloneword7427 - They exist but I'd be the first to tell you not to believe me. Our recounts of the facts sound too insane. I can't expect belief because of that. You have to experience it first hand by seeing one up close or close enough to ensure proper identification. Don't believe me? That doesn't change the facts. I'm telling you not to believe me. Maybe all of these are smaller versions of their species that lives deep in the Earth or Ocean and managed to move away from them and also make it certain lakes and rivers across the world. Because all of them are connected, so just a thought.
