Which shoe of the MX242 or CX242 has most range for cleat adjustment? Which shoe can get the cleat furthest back?

they both have identical soles so they will offer the same adjustment

But with the two hole bolt for mtb isnt it possible to go further back with the cleat?

I love this channel! How is the toe box compared to the MX169? Does it taper the big toe? Can you get the same cleat position on both shoes?

Not quite as wide or spacious - for the same size you can indeed get the same fore aft - and the toe box is square so it doesn’t taper the big toe much - there is the smallest curve but if you pause the video on my 169 or 201 video you will see the insole and get an idea visually if it tapers or not

I have been looking at this shoe but in a wide and for road cycling. My feet wearing socks which is how Lake says to measure are about 114mm wide and 277mm long.The Lake size chart then says to add 5mm so that brings me to 282mm.That puts me at a 44.5 .If my length was 283.5 then their chart puts me at a 45.I am asking you if I should size up to a 45 or go with 44.5? Their are no stores within 100 miles of me in Wisconsin USA...Can you help please ?, and greatly appreciated.Thanks

size 45 - I have had more success with their guides recently by adding 7mm
