Lake O'Hara: All Souls Alpine Route. Opabin Prospect & Beyond. Day 2- Yoho National Park. Aug 24/23

Come join us today as we hike the All Souls Alpine Route at Lake O'Hara. We also hike to the Opabin Prospect Lookout, which fulfills one of my dreams. We learn about the Abbott hut from Vicky at Lake Oesa, as well as enjoy the yukness ledge trail. Hi! We hiked in the longer way. If you do the shorter hike there, I don't think it's as rocky. The rocks were pretty stable. We didn't have issues with loose rocks. Thanks for watching 😊

Wow, what a hike! Wish we could have done what you did but luck and lottery weren't on our side. And that smoke, I heard about it after we left about a month ago. But ya know, even without winning the lottery, I'd do it again next time I'm there, and able.

How much of the hike to the Opabin Plateau is on super rocky areas? And are the rocks mostly stable, or do they roll when you step on them? Thank you ❤

Hi! We went the long way around and it was pretty Rocky. The shorter route isn't very Rocky. The rocks were pretty stable too. Thanks for watching. I hope you're going to hike there, it's so beautiful! 😀
