I'm an US Citizen, but Lake of the Woods is a special place to me. I've been going to the Angle for many years, and hope that someday, I'm able to go to the Canadian parts of the lake.

Thank you for making and providing this video. LOW is certainly a rich and important body of water. I have a new appreciation for the lake I previously thought was uninteresting.

I have been going to Fort St. Charles since the 60's, It is a retreat for Priests. We update the cabins, put and remove the dock and mow the grass.... you did a nice job showing the Fort. Thank you

Drive past there daily in the summer on the way past Scotty to our camp - lots of improvements at Stephens over the decades - we had several interactions with campers who canoed to balancing Rock Island, a common destination back in the 60's - 90's but now privately owned - cheers Charles

Haha my cousin hit that reef between the two boat houses!! Also I’m happy that he showed the plaque in Holmstroms marsh. Carl Malmo was my great grandfather and Eric Holmstrom was his father in law. My great great grandfather. It’s so cool to have so much family history on the lake. There’s really no place like it. We have our family island just at the end of welcome channel. Fox island. Carl Malmo was a commercial fisherman on the lake and purchased 5 acres of fox island in the late 30’s or early 40’s for $5,000!! My family remains on the island to this day and many many more to come!!

I own property in Oregon. Well still paying it off. Few years left for that. But that fort replica, I wanted to do a fence around my property using trees just like how that fort was. Trees all around me so it would only take manpower to do it.

It's an amazing waterway, but very intimidating with the obstacles and its magnitude. Wouldn't want my motor to break down, let alone getting lost. Could be a dangerous situation. I wonder how many people actually got lost and thus had a very frightening experience.
