Lake Ontario's Record High Water - Lakeview Game Management Area & Montario Point

Our drone starts the journey from North Colwell Road flying over the channel from South Colwell Pond to Lake Ontario. This channel is generally closed off by mid summer but has considerable depth due to the record high water on Lake Ontario. We travel north to the channel to Lakeview, Floodwood & Goose Ponds. This channel is considerably deeper and wider as well. We then head back south to the North Colwell Road starting point following the sand dune shoreline. The drone rises for a terrific view of the channel to South Colwell Pond and Montario Point with Sandy Pond in the distance.
