Me too! I haven't been since this trip in the summer of 2019. It was one of the best summers I ever had, I did so much traveling but Lake Tahoe was by far my favorite. I can't wait to return!

This footage was shot July 2019 and I had posted it before but decided to make a compilation of all my Lake Tahoe footage. Tahoe is such a big lake with so many different beautiful spots to see. Thank you! I can’t wait to go back! Yes you are allowed to fly the drone in Lake Tahoe in certain areas. Using apps like AirMap and KittyHawk give you access to a federal database that tells you where drones are and aren’t allowed.

Currently about to take a trip out there and I was looking up some rules about drone flying and apparently you are not allowed to fly your drone in any of the state/national parks, or public beachers around Lake Tahoe. Have you gotten into any trouble with some of this footage? I really want to film at some of these locations but I don't want to get into trouble with local authorities either.

That’s not true there are many places where you can fly in Lake Tahoe. I followed all of the rules and regulations at the time that I was there in 2019 but I just did a quick web search and found out today in 2022 you can fly safely for recreational or commercial purposes. I’m covered under Part 107 and local authorities have zero jurisdiction over federal airspace.
