I spent a couple of weeks in NZ back in 1991 - your videos are bringing back lots of memories! I hiked the Milford Track, which was spectacular, and visited lots of the same things you are - Lake Tekapo, Mount Cook, Milford Sound boat tour, Glow Worm Caves (Te Anau), jet boats in Christchurch, etc. I have pondered making a drinking game of watching your videos - drink every time Kay says "so, yeah", but decided I would be plastered before I ever got to the end of whatever video I was watching... LOL

soooo yeah.... 😉😂 I need to work on my connectives it would seem 😂 but I also love your idea for the drinking game,! 😂 I'm so happy to hear you came and experienced NZ too and that it hasn't changed too much since you were here. I love reminiscing places i've been too when I see other peoples videos 😊😀

@@KayAndDomDoLife It's all good - and don't change 'cause one day I'll do that drinking game! :-) I am amazed, happily so, that it all looks about the same as it did in 1991. Beautiful place, NZ.

Great video. I loved visiting those areas in Jan 2014 - But was unable to hike as much due to being with my elderly Dad. That tiny church is famous because the foundation stone was laid by HRH the Duke of Gloucester, on January 15 1935. :) Also hiked the Hooker trail though Mt Cook was hidden by clouds most of the way. I had a photo of the boardwalk as well. :) So lovely to see all the clear skies. You picked an excellent day! Hope you all had a good rest after all those steps. I am amazed at how much you did! :)

Ka pai! I'm loving these van life episodes, I grew up in nz and you guys have probably covered more of the south island than I have by now! Mount cook and lake tekapo are definitely on the to do list. You two grilled tomatos take care of yourselves, it's going to be a long hot summer I think! 🍅🍅☀️ happy travels✌

Wonderful video. Me and my best fren planning for a camper Van rider there next year maybe in October. Just two of us ladies. Do u think it's safe for us to be on the road? Maybe can u recommend whr can we Park to have a good night and safe sleep.

Great idea to go for a trip over to New Zealand you'll love it! It's a very safe country so no worries there, you can either pay to camp in campsites with other people and amenities like showers and a camp kitchen, or there are many free camping spots around but you will need a van which has its own facilities on board to be allowed to camp there :)
