Great video brother! Always be careful not to get over excited and horse the fish in, that's why so many got off. We're all learning with every cast. Good luck to everyone and God bless y'all!

Tip : never force in the fish or reel in the fish when the fish is pulling your drag. That just going to put more tension on where the hooks hook the and will rip off from the fish's mouth or break your line off. But this is a great video though. You guys are killing it.

Taking my son down in October to go out with a couple guides. Never been down there, and would also like to try some bank fishing for stripers after going out with the guides. Are you up for sharing in general some good spots around the lake to cast out from the bank? Thanks for any info, and appreciate the video.

Nice job! My son caught a 7lb’er from the bank there at Texoma one year on a rattle trap. I’m just now learning about striper fishing. What month was this filmed? I’m trying to figure out what time of the year is best for this action on Texoma. Thanks for sharing!

This video was a while ago but what was the keeping size then? In my area that wouldn’t have kept but it’s probably different for there?

Try Owner ST 66 trebles. I use 2/0 on my tuna swimbaits (Halco Max 130) and they can catch a 100+ YFT but keep the swimbait swimming normally

Is it possible to park at the gate and walk in from October 1st to April 1st? It's a great place to bank fish, but just found out that its closed for hunting between those dates. I've noticed cars parked at the gate, so I assume people just walk in and it's fine?

When the fish pulls drag, don't reel in. You'll catch more fish.

Do you guys see them boiling or just blind casting?
@BarrelManFishing3 жыл бұрын
They really don’t boil at that spot. You’ll see the occasional shad being chased, but no real schooling. The fish are just there that time of the year.
