There was no compact short film about Lake Tisza, which would have shown the reservoir in an exciting, up-to-date style. The aim of the film is to raise interest, to educate and call to new adventures. The filmmaker Dimitry Ljasuk grew up at the lake and as an adult returns to his roots to present the eight most exciting adventures. A heartfelt film that speaks from a new perspective with amiable stories appealing to both young and old. A special journey that draws attention to the preservation of the natural values of the lake.
The film was made without promotion, financed only by the creator himself from his own resources.
Crew: Writer, DOP, director, gaffer, script writer, sound recorder, narrator, drone operator, producer, lead, all in one Dimitry Ljasuk

While Lake Balaton is the largest lake in Western Hungary, “Lake Balaton” of Eastern Hungary is Lake Tisza. Kiskörei Reservoir (by its old name) is five times bigger than Lake Velence, but it is only the one fifth of Lake Balaton.
Both Lake Balaton and Lake Velence are natural lakes, however Lake Tisza is, in fact, an artificial reservoir created for irrigation, flood control and power generation more than 40 years ago.
The Kisköre hydroelectric power plant (located at the end of Lake Tisza) is Hungary’s largest hydroelectric power plant and accounts for 1% of the country’s electricity production.
