LAKE TITICACA ISLANDS TRAVEL GUIDE | Amantani Island to Taquile Island

Day two of our exploration on Lake Titicaca, Peru!
By visiting three different Lake Titicaca islands - Uros Island, Amantani Island and Taquile Island - we have a good grasp of this iconic lake. Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world, with 12,500 feet elevation (3,810 metres) above sea level.

We started off at Amantani Island homestay, where we stayed overnight with a local family.
We sailed to the nearby Taquile Island, where we did a hiking through the island across to learn more about the UNESCO Heritage Site.

I am from to Taquile island thanks for your visist in this island we have more beatiful places the beach with Golden sand Clearwater we can play swinm soocer, fire aruond and many activities. Right now we are with out turist we are alone unhappy with this pandemia. Good look and bleesing good. Apologize me inglés is wrong.

Was the trip to Amantani and Taquille part of a package tour? I was wondering how you would go about in finding a company if you want to do that. Do you plan it before you come or shop around when you are there?
