Good to see you getting out of Bastrop County. ;) Decker and Fayette hold some massive Bass. Though I can't seem to figure out Decker....I see plenty of people catching 20+ inch fish in the tournaments.

I hope to fish it more, the travel is not too bad but is still a drive. I think I’ll try the dam next time. I hear they are in the deeper water

@@BRandomFishing All the bigs I've heard about are either along the reeds or deep in them, but at specific spots where they are close to deep water. But it's all been 2nd hand information for me. I've ever only caught one or two 5lbs~ fish from there.

Love that lake... As long as the wind isn't white capping, it can produce well... Tight lines man 🎣

Great place to kayak fish. I like the back side of the lake. I am usually finding them about 50-75 yards off the reeds out there.

That is crazy to think they are that far away. I guess there must be a lot of weed structure that I could not see that day. I can't wait to go out there on a bright sunny day where I can see into the water. I will def be back and thanks for the tips

Hello buddy how's it going. Happy late Christmas to you and a Happy New Year to you and your family. I hope you celebrated safety into 2022. That look like a nice big Lake. That's awesome that you caught some nice fish man and didn't get skunked on a lake you don't know very well. A good buddy of mine invited me and my whole entire family to his house down in Miami Florida for New Years & to do some kayak fishing. It was awesome fishing for 3 Days man. Caught some fish I never caught before , watching all six of my boys catching fish they had never caught before , & most of all watching my 6th son paul fishing , kayak , for his first time & this is his first time being in Florida. All six of my kids were loving it. They said they would rather be here in Miami fishing in t-shirts , shorts , & flip-flops then to be back at home dealing with crazy weather and can't fish. PS. Brandon have a question that I just curious about? I was kayaking today with my friend good Buddy & he said that he like to use & pedal his PDL kayak Barefooted 👣 style more because the pedal are a lot smoother & comfortable then his Hobie kayak pedal are. I saw you took off your flip-flops and kayak barefooted 👣styles. How comfortable was that? I'm asking cuz I still want to get me a pedal drive kayak. The problem that I'm having is I need pedals that are 6 1/2 inches wide. I will go with 6" in if I can find them. This was a good video buddy. Looking forward to supporting your channel for 2022.

I don’t walk around barefoot very often so I have soft feet. I think the Hobie pedals are very comfortable and have never noticed any foot pain because of them, but I’ve never used any other peddles to compare them to. Kayak fishing in the ocean would be amazing! I’ve done it in the bay in Houston before I started my channel but only caught catfish. I’m glad y’all got to spend quality family time on New Years and may god bless you and your family in 2022

@@BRandomFishing I can understand that especially when your feet. I am just the opposite! I walk around barefooted 👣 a lot because of my wide feet so I have some Hard Rock feet. I can walk across black payment Barefooted 👣 for a while before it starts to burn my feet which my wife doesn't like to a certain point because I have to deal with burnt feet at that point. It seems like the Hobie pedals are pretty comfortable cuz him & one other person I only heard complaints about the pedals not being comfortable. That's good that you haven't had any foot pains from the pedal. I think you will like fishing in the Bay .Yes we had a very very good time. We are going to make plans to do it again around the summertime when school is out. The only thing that we didn't like on this trip was leaving 80 degree weather you come back to 34 degree weather with 6" to 7" inches of snow on the ground & me & my whole entire family are wearing flip flops. We did not take our shoes because the forecast was not calling for any snow when we was arriving back home. At one point when we stopped at the gas station everybody was staring at us like crazy. Thank you Brandon God bless you and your family too for 2022.
