I love Lake winniepesaukah!!!! It was big part of my childhood! I remember going every summer all summer long when I was a kid. Good ole days! This makes me sad.😭😭😭 Please open back up to normal this year.

I realize to an outside perspective, this must look horrible. To me, I grew up coming here. I really hope this park survives, I may have outgrown it, and I can admit I'd rather to go Six Flags on most occasions, but this place is irreplaceable to a lot of us around here. Even seeing the golf course like that broke my heart, one of my only memories of my late grandmother is when we decided to spend the extra money to play mini golf. My girlfriend and I were hoping to go there on an ironic date of sorts, but now I'm honestly just sad. I'm worried about the park, I'd truly hate to see it go away.

Yea, same. This was always my fave place to go as a kid, some of my most cherished memories as a kid where me and my cousins waiting in line for a funnel cake and being terrified of the clown at the end of the wacky factory. I don’t know what I would do if it closed down, to many memories were made here.

@@hannahbanana5720 Ah man, the Wacky Factory was called The Castle when I was a kid, I loved it. It was your typical cheesy dark ride, UV paintings on the walls and random pits of green “goo”. I’m glad they kept the truck horn gag though.

Lil update, a few days ago, my fam went there! It’s almost completely back to normal! Whilst it isn’t as busy, and a lot of rides have been replaced, it’s good to see that it survived! I had a great time!

This is my local park and it’s super sad to see it in the state it’s in right now. It’s never been super snazzy or anything for as long as I can remember, but with all the plants being overgrown and rides just flat out not even assembled.. it’s weird. I get it though, they’ve never had that high of a budget and only add a new flat ride once every few years at most. I think it’d be worth it to check it out when all this ‘rona shit blows over though, the atmosphere is definitely pretty unique.

that was a mini golf course. there used to be a huge metal train sitting in the back next to a stage area for concerts. a model T car ride. a scare house. a video arcade. used to feed cat fish with pop corn. there was a couple more rides behind those early carnival game booths. my fav ride got shut down years ago... The Rock n' Roller. a spinning up and down ride were they blared rock music.... from what i was told some grandmother complained it damaged her hearing and they were forced to shut it down....

I was at the park on Saturday (8/1/2020) and at least tried to enjoy myself despite half of the rides closed due to lack of staff and some of those rides not assembled. I went there regardless because I wanted to ride the water slides when I was too heavy last visit.

You came at a time when we weren't sure if we could remain open due to covid. The Health Dept would tell us when and what we could open.. Then we would have to send people home due to being sick so it left us with very limited help.. We have ALWAYS strived to to be a family fun place to bring the kids. The boat chute was built by the owners grandfather, their monument lays beside the entrance in dedication. Please google this place and read the details about the different rides. Alot of them are unique to the time.. All of our restaurants weren't able to open the past 2 seasons except for 1.. even this season it's going to be hard to maintain. But give them another shot before doing a review.. You'll see they really do try to make it so everyone has a great time.. 🙂

I live about 15 minutes away from here and it’s so sad how run down and out of shape this park is. Even before covid, a good bit of the rides were not running or they’re very run down and haven’t been kept up in years. I wish someone would buy and revamp it and add some newer and better rides. It used to be great about 15 years ago, but it’s just been going down hill fast since then.

It is very sad to see the Park like this most of my 80s childhood was spent here I need to go visit again soon if nothing just walk around my last trip there was in 90-91? It was so crowded you could barely move wait time for the rides then was no less than 30-35 mins but with the state of things now at the Park no way I would pay full price to get in with only 1/3 of the park in Operation and most of the vendors gone or closed this is so sad to see it this way if they would pay employees more than $8 an hour they would have staff to operate the rides and more people would visit ☹️

If I was the owner of this park like Winnie and I will have it open a year round but I'm going to have a change of it and I'm going to do put in a music pop between Boca cars in the road closer but you better not cross me okay? But if you do you're going to lose a lot of rides And I'm going roseate this theme park from my experience and I live That's her mouth from here and I know what you going to do and also you going to pay me a lot more money then I have to pay for outrageous pay but if you don't you will be out of business and I promise you you will never mess with me ever again just wait and see.
