I totally disagree with this premise. If Klutch was trying to use Lakers as leverage the worst thing they could say is Reaves is off the table because that emboldens the spurs even more to say we ain’t giving up anything of significance. I think this was AD and Brons effort to expose the front office and apply pressure

There is no universe where Rob Pelinka is going to trade Austin Reaves, Max Christie, Dalton Knecht, Rui Hachimura and Jarred Vanderbilt. NONE whatsoever. Rob is going to trade Anthony Davis’ lame ass to the Rockets for Amen Thompson, Jabari Smith, Dillion Brooks (salary filler) and THREE 1st round picks.

Btw they have it ass-backward. Rob Pelinka has ZERO desire to trade Austin Reaves away regardless of how they as for MANY sane reasons. For one, Austin is developed into a young all star level player regarding of what you clowns think of Austin. Secondly, Austin easily has the best value contract in the entire NBA and it’s not even close. Thirdly, why on earth would Rob Pelinka gut up their roster of good young talent on cost controlled contracts that would also deplete the Lakers best 1st round picks for years to come? Anthony Davis is at the end of his prime and probably has two to three high-end years left while LeBron James’ ass is 40 years old! Stop it. Stop it!🙄
