Couldn't agree more. We were fed all this crap about max not playing enough. He played in like 65 games last year. He just isn't good. Even Darvin could see that.

To be fair this years roster is worse than last years particularly the bench & Dlo’s been putrid offensively compared to last year

I'm just talking about max really and the great big lie they tried to feed us about how he never played. He played alot more games than people think. His jumper was broke last year and it's broke still. In both Darvin and jjs defense both rosters are really flawed. You can only do so much

JJ didn't do well tonight. But man, Rob Pelinka and the FO should have targets on their backs for not improving the roster during the summer. Most of us know that they don't need to see 30 games to see what this team really is, just asinine. Can this team even survive 30-40 more games until the trade deadline when the Lakers hopefully make the moves to upgrade the roster? If they don't make any moves by then, then the Lakers are telling us they want to go into rebuild mode and I would be ok with that, but pick a side dammit. Stop this 2 timeline BS Lakers!

Pistons fan here, our rebounding really killed you. All our more athletic 5s (Duren and Stew) where killing you on the boards. I agree the Lakers didnt really feel like it was a decent effort from them. We gave way more effort pushing the ball and getting points in transition, Especially when Ivey was out there. I never expected to win this game, let alone it be a blow out.

Max didn't play last year because he was not good enough. 32M ouch. Max is 307 rated in Yahoo Fantasy. That makes him 10th man. Have to play him and hope he gets better. I thought Gabe would be good enough to start. Looks like I was wrong about that. Thought JJ was going to make AR a star. AR pattern is good game, bad game, good, bad, good and we'll see. Rui looks confused. Russell lost his mind shooting against the Pistons but has been good so far this year. Russell has been hustling, but shooting? Cam hustles. Jax hustles. Dalton needs to play 15-20 minutes right now. Play Dalton with Lebron. Lebron will get him the ball in the right spots. Get Koloko on the court. Koloko and Jax have to play or AD and Lebron will not make it playing 40 min a game. AD needs to stay in the paint on defense. 5 man switching D only works when you can defend the rim. Too many Piston layups while AD guarding the perimeter. Russell can't Dunk.

team has 2 big flaws, our back court gets cooked by any quick scoring guard & our bench is absolutely awful, pls trade gabe vincent. Maybe Wood & Vando solve those issues?

Real question if foot speed and physicality is not what AD and Lebron are strongest at in their older/ injured part of the career . Why do we keep harping on Lebrons need for a ball handler and 2 BALLHANDLERS at that with AR and Dlo together.. this is the only aspect I defend Darvin Ham on is he understood and seeked that Lebron and AD needs youth size and defense with all his experimentation (aka all wing line ups ) we see why Darvin struggled to not simply say “ yeah let’s play our best players “ he looked for fit on the starting line up and balance with the bench hence benching Dlo and AR …Okay can’t believe I defended Ham because he pissed me off a lot last year but we can tell where some of his problems came from. But obviously the rest was on Ham as far as time puts hands in pockets rotations etc
