In regards to Vando, barring any setbacks it will take him at least a month to get back to regular form. Don't have high expectations. Having DFS is definitely a plus because it can take the pressure off of him. In regards to guarding Wemby, you have to get physical with him and veer him away from the spots he likes to shoot at. On offense you have to attack him as well. Make him expend energy on both sides of the floor.

Lonzo Ball is playing very well and up to 25 min. He is a terrific pickup. A facilitating 3 and D wing who can shoot higher volume than Rui, as well as much better defense, perimeter play, rebounding, and could help on diminished guard depth. Also would target Ayo Dosunmu as well as a small wing/guard to start at the 2. Don’t need both guards, but Lonzo off the bench can slot 1-3 and have more overall value off the bench than anyone you currently have. Could also help players like Max and DK off the bench more. Add Torrey Craig as well for depth. Going out is Rui, Gabe, JHS and an unprotected first. Wing depth is still DFS, Lebron, Vando, Cam, Craig and small wings Max, Ayo, Lonzo. Then trade for Sharpe or Nick Richards using Hayes and Wood or Reddish.

@ I’ll just say this……when you have Spencer Dinwiddie just abusing Austin the entire game….there are a couple point of attack guards we could have gotten like Dejounte Murray, another guard that could at least help protect Austin is Bruce Brown, defensive point of attack guards who would not get abused at the one position. Then we can move Austin to the 2 guard where he can find his spot & create it’s not that hard to figure out smh 🤦🏾

It’s time to trade Gabe, JHS, and Wood. Wood hasn’t played in like 2 years. I don’t know why JHS has been injured so much, he doesn’t even play enough to get injured. Dude is a bust imo. What a waste of a pick by Rob. Could of had Jamie Jaquez, Cam Whitmore, or someone else in that draft. Only reason I might would keep Vando if I’m the Lakers is because of his defensive toughness and ability to guard multiple positions when healthy. But time is of the essence. These guys need to recover. If not recovered before trade deadline, a trade needs to be done. This roster is frustrating. I honestly don’t understand why JJ is playing Gabe over 20 mins a game and Gabe is not even scoring a single point or getting any assists in most of these games. Milton should be getting minutes ahead of Gabe. All Gabe does is run to the corner on every play. He doesn’t have any ability to command an offense as a point guard and his defense has been subpar at times. He’s good defensively most games, but when he is not playing defense, he bring little value on the court.

I keep telling people AD is the problem but they dont wanna accept. People expect Bron to drop 30+ points a game but still say the team belongs to AD. AD is suppose to be averaging Giannis numbers, something that he has refused to do. AD is always playing on a low motor yet he supposed to be in his prime and carrying the team in tough games. For a second option Bron is holding up his end of the deal pretty well. This is why i insist lakers need Lavine more than a backup center. With that said, AD is the problem and people are not ready to admit it just because he plays good defense. For a second option Lebron is playing great. AD is suppose to be the first option but it is something that he seems to have refused to embrace completely. AD plays poorly way too much to be taken seriously as a number one offensive option. AD is more of a defensive star than an offensive threat. This means that lakers need to get a starting big like Myles Turner to do the dirty work that AD doesn't wanna do or get Lavine to take up the scoring load with Bron while AD focusses on defense where he excels at. To me, lakers have an offensive problem more than a defensive problem...this team plays very good defense when they lock in, and adding DFS has definitely boosted them even more...their offense is what is inconsistent....they go on too many scoring droughts even against weak teams.
