I think God led me here also. I have a lot hurt from being betrayed by people in my family. I just prayed about an hour ago to forgive them. But I don't know how. I will try again. I don't want to associate with them because it never stops. Also read this morning in Mark where Jesus said "who are my brothers and sisters and mother? Whoever does the will of God is My brother and sister and mother." Only God knows the depth a pain. Thanks again

Forgiveness is often a process. Sometimes it takes years to forgive someone who deeply hurt you. There are a small group of people in forgive everyday. I say out loud “Lord I forgive “ say their name” and speak out loud what I forgive them for. I then Ask God to bless them in every area of their life. I have noticed these people have less power over my thoughts and life as I do this on a regular basis. Try this if you are having trouble letting go of somebody and watch what happens. It is important to be consistent with this habit and dont quit. Until you receive the blessing of forgiving another person and freeing yourself from the bondage of grudges,bitterness and resentment.
