Also, the swelling is occurring across the dorsal aspect of her L-hand. I think it is infected. Along with her hand digging in the dirt the likelihood it's infected is very high.

Lala has had a real problem with that little finger for some time but neither Lan nor Quan have done anything about it. For those who think Lala gets good care, I completely disagree with you. Lala is neglected in so many ways. She has unbelievable diaper rash, completely raw on her butt and tail. She is held on her back when bathed and draped with weeds which are probably infectious. Frequently screaming Lala is seldom fed and has been forced to walk bipedal. This will shortly start to deform her soft bones. And all this while the finger on the left hands gets worse.
