Laurent Contini Mainstream music upper echelons purpose is to keep music dumbed down and toxic. As a result, many artists like Rachelle are not promoted like more "popular"acts because she will not compromise who she is or what she brings. I heard a llittle snippet of her addressing that. Does that mean every current artist has compromised their integrity, no. Yet fame and fortune is alluring esp. when you have come from a disadvataged background and they are waving money in your face. Like Tionne Watkins advised though better read the fine print.
