Too funny. We sailed on the Carnival Sunshine that same day out of Port Canaveral. I uploaded a video on my channel of our horn battle with the Oasis of the Seas we briefly engaged in as we left port. I got a clear shot of the Oasis bow to stern as well sailed by but I couldn't really tell if you were in the video or not! I was on deck 15 of the Sunshine and realized Oasis of the Seas had 3 more decks higher than where I was standing!

OMG !! :) My dear wife and I were on that ship just a few weeks before you were! It was a bucket list cruise ship for me as well. It was so nice to see the excitement on your faces to be on that cruise, and to relive it myself! I very much appreciate the video footage you put in this video. Just the other day I was just trying to remember what you see when you first step on board. My dear wife and I were considering an inside view balcony, but we ended up choosing the ocean view balcony because we were concerned about possible noise, and we would miss the ocean, so it was really nice to see that in your vid! I also very much appreciated your sail away footage as I missed that view of Nasa's historic launch site area during my sail away.

Tony NCL is Grand n the Bliss over the top but the Observation deck is outstanding mini buffet in morning n afternoon buffet cold assortment s but the Jersey Boys was like on Broadway 🎭

We sailed on the Oasis July 29 of this year. I absolutely loved the ship. Even though she’s a Mega Ship it doesn’t feel crowded at all. It’s easy to navigate around also. We had priority boarding to and it went real smooth. Love the vlogs.

Sue and I only ever sail RCI so we are a bit (a lot) biased, but always likewise have a balcony, to each their own but couldn't sail without one now......sitting out looking at the ocean give that added special touch...……..jenny, Sue said given your expletive you need to sit in the naughty corner......that's what happens with our grandson....lol...it was very funny though.

@@LaLidoLoca Hi Jenny, yep in my days we had a smack on the bottom, belt with a belt, hit with a feather duster, soap on our tongue, etc etc etc.... blaaaaaaaah! Nowadays we have "naughty chairs" (not sure what happened to "if you say that again I will smack your bum") but apparently smacking a bottom is out and you have to treat a child like an adult and threaten with a "naughty corner or naughty chair". Children are children and we are the adults and our job is to mould them into same! I thought it was funny when you "expressed yourself".... only words - not as if you were hurting anyone :-) Luv your blogs and as Aussies we sometimes giggle at the different approach the Americans are to how the Aussies are.... we are very laid back by nature and take it as it comes (good or bad) We luv life & people regardless of where you are from or what you look like as long as you live life respecting your family (and/or cultures) and enjoy yourself ….. PS: this is from Sue and not David!!!

I was on deck 11, room #535 when I was on the Oasis. It was a very quiet deck, so I was fortunate there. Had never set foot on a cruise ship before, so the size of her was mind-blowing to me. Central Park was my favorite place to go in the evenings after dinner. I made so many new friends, it was amazing. I only picked the Oasis because she was featured on The Food Network, and they mentioned "Lobster night" 🦞. I could not believe the sheer volume of food available on that ship. And while I don't have any other experiences to go by, I felt the quality of the food was fantastic. 150 Central Park was my first specialty restaurant, and they kept shoveling amazing food at me like it was going out of style. I'm sitting there at my table having the best time, when the older couple at the next table asks me if this is my first cruise. They were so kind, and talked to me the whole time. Sorento's pizza was excellent. Being easily impressed, I really enjoyed the Windjammer, which is where I always went for my pre-meal meals. I heard from a couple of other passengers that, in their opinion, the food was better on Princess. Nevertheless, for me, the food experience was exquisite. The Chef's Table was probably the pinnacle of my food experience while onboard. Watching this video makes me misty-eyed. It's amazing how you can become attached to a ship.

Miami is a totally different boarding process. They have a new terminal and it is super super easy to board! Port Canaveral is a small port And they probably can’t handle the volume when it’s busy like that. We’re going on the oasis in April out of Miami. We just got back from navigator of the seas boarding in Miami and it was a breeze.

We’re going on this ship in few months, cruising in the Meds. I love your Oasis series, it’s making me even more excited and can’t wait. I was torn between Central Park or Boardwalk balcony. We opted for boardwalk with unobstructed view of the aqua theatre. Thank you for this video!

Carnival balconies always have a couch. I would never get an inside balcony. I love the water too much. When Jenny sweated, her eye makeup messed up under her eye. It wasn't bad, and I love her makeup. Just thought I'd mention it for next time.

I always tell people warning that once you are in a balcony its going to be very hard to downgrade from there. We always have had a balcony and tried a spa interior last month.. did not care for it all , it was sooo tiny more than anything.
