So gutted i didn't stay in Lamai. We booked a few nights there, only for one of the major BOOKING sites to screw up. Definitely coming back early next year.

The bad thing from what I've gotten after watching your videos is I want to stay at every beach in Samui 😂 Lamai is so pretty but I already booked a hotel to stay at Chaweng Beach. Chaweng is so busy but close to shopping area, nightlife and also have more fun vibrant so that's why I chose Chaweng

Yes , so many great beaches! Also you can take tuk tuk to other parts of the island for the day or night. There is no bad choice to where you wany to stay. As you said you like shopping and more fun so don't worry you made the right choice

@@maryasha288 if your mum needs more of float beach area best is to be in CHOENGMON. You can park at the carnival and it’s a very easy walk to the beach front without stairs or hard to get to. If you love Chaweng then I highly recommend OZO they made it very easy to get from the rooms to the beach all paved area
