The Baltimore Ravens spoiled Christmas in the Bay Area with a 33-19 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Lamar Jackson finished with 297 total yards and two passing touchdowns, while MVP favorite Brock Purdy threw four interceptions. Colin Cowherd is done with the MVP debate, explaining why Lamar proved he is it. The Dallas Cowboys fell short on the road once again, this time, to the Miami Dolphins, 22-20. Jason Sanders kicked the game-winning field goal to hand America's Team their second-straight loss. Colin reacts to the loss.

While Flacco was the Qb, the Ravens beat Manning at Mile High and Brady at New England by double digits (in their prime years) on their way to winning the chip. How many coaches can say that? Harbaugh has the third most playoff wins in the league since he became a head coach(behind Bellichick and Reid), including three AFC championship game appearances and two double-digit wins against Brady and Belichick in the playoffs in New England. All three AFC championship game appearances with Flacco including his rookie season. If Flacco is an average qb or worse, then what does that say about coaching? Most would say Roethlisberger is a Hall of Famer or the vast majority would say certainly in the discussion and with a wide gap to Flacco in talent and accomplishments. While Lamar is faster than Ben, Ben was far more accurate, had better mechanics, was a better processor, and was a better qb overall. When did Tomlin beat Belichick in the playoffs?

Additionally Baltimore is 18th in pass yards per game, and has the best rush offense. Which is partly Lamar however even without his 52 rush yards per game they’d still average over 100 rush yards per game. Which oh by the way would still put them in the top 15 of the league….. Never said football was played on a stat sheet. But just to blanket say Lamar MVP is silly, and not looking at the whole picture. That Baltimore has the most complete team in the nfl and they’d likely be a top seed with 18 out of the 32 starting QBs in the nfl. Again though ignore all the actual facts and say football isn’t played on a stat sheet 🤡. There is also eye test🤣 where Lamar at points this season has looked like a below average QB.

Ravens under Monken never run QB sneaks or Options at the goal line to keep Lamar healthy. Edwards is and always was a very good goal line back and he has 12 TDs. The 49ers had more rushing yards than the Ravens: 121-102 San Francisco outgained Baltimore: 429-343 Niners had 6.3 yards per play to the Ravens 5.4 yards per play. But when you turn the ball over FIVE TIMES, it's impossible to win. That's the story of the game. 49ers had no trouble moving the ball against the no. 1 defense in the NFL. They beat themselves.

In a running back, you usually have a guy that can either bludgeon the defense for short yardage or bust out for explosive plays. There is the rare occasion you find a back that can do both, but those guys are the ones that become all the time great if they’re around long enough. If you have one or the other, you need both. Dallas made the mistake of not recognizing that having Zeke around to bludgeon is what freed up Tony to be explosive.
