What exactly did Bill Polian say that was so awful? He talked about his slight frame which is a real cause of concern. I still wince every time he gets hit. He also mentioned the wrong coaches retarding his development. Well, the Ravens canned Mornhinweg who was using him in bs packages with Flacco, got rid of Flacco and promoted Greg Roman who has played to his strengths. So I think all of them were pretty on point.

HemanParkFilms I’m concerned about all hits to all players. I played 7 seasons in the NFL. I was a linebacker. Although I didn’t suffer any significant injuries from delivering the hits. But those hit tallied up and I noticed the cumulative affect of those hits over time. Look at Big Ben and Cam Newton. Both plus 250lbs
@HemanParkFilms4 жыл бұрын
@@kaboo2009 Let me rephrase. I get concerned for player safety. What I meant is that I wasn't so concerned about Lamar getting hurt running, anymore than QB's who aren't mobile because they take more punishment to me. Cam tried to run people over. Big Ben stayed in the pocket too long.
@kaboo20094 жыл бұрын
HemanParkFilms This is all I’m trying to convey, No matter what size the QB, his style so far as staying in the pocket or dual threat. ALL QB’S GET INJURED! It’s a physical sport. But when a player like Lamar have significant more rushing attempts and out the pocket where QB not protected and now is a runner. The % drastically goes up for injury. QB’s get hurt all the time with non contact injuries I.e. Bridgewatter, Big Ben & Garoppalo.

These NFL dinosaurs know that the game is changing, a more mobile quarterback is needed in the league, because they have change all the rules that they could for the pocket passer, without realizing mobile quarterbacks benefit from those same rules. And mobile quarterbacks are shining and winning. They knew that Lamar Jackson was going to open a door that not even Michael Vick could. And once this door is open there's no turning back. Everyone will desire a mobile Passer regardless of what color he is. The NFL gave the desired specs on the prototype pocket passer quarterback, to keep that position white. When the early NFl had white quarterbacks running all the time until I believe the Red Grange era , when he became the first prolific pocket passer. Which
