Lamar is doing WAY better in the NFL than I thought he would, considering he only really won one big game in his college career, when they woodshedded FSU a couple of weeks before this game. He lost to Clemson twice, lost both bowl games, finished 2016 with three straight losses and went 1-5 against ranked opponents. But he's a great example of a good QB getting drafted by the right team and blossoming into a great QB. Nobody ever doubted his athleticism, but his passing is much better now than when he was at UL. He's fun to watch.

They have programmed viewers to what a QB should look like and how they should play but the sad thing NFL coaches have brought into that same lie. It's the coaches who should be changing and not the QB or just don't draft a guy if he's over your head in teaching. Thats another lie ... people say the QB is unteachable when it might be the coach have no knowledge of how to use his talents to its fullest potential. This is why you have dual threat QB get injured in the NFL because coaches try to make them a drop back passer or tell them to play another position because the coaches are lacking and not the players.

I remember that game like it was yesterday. I found out what I already knew about Deshaun. He was and still is a winner, the most clutch player on the field and the best player in the country. And I learned something new about Lamar. I found out that he was a legit future NFL QB. I had my doubts before that game. He showed me he could play QB on Sundays and was more than just a scrabbler. I like both QB's...I like Deshaun Watson the best, as far as over all, pocket awareness with athleticism. I trust Watson more when under pressure. There's going to be times when you can't just run every time the pocket closes in on you. There will be times when defenses will have players that is just as fast as Lamar that can put big hits on him. He won't avoid every hit. He won't avoid every sack.The things that Lamar is doing is great, the excitement that he brings is also great. But for longevity and experience for now, I trust Watson, more.*** I think that just like Mahommes, everyone is seeing a really great first year starter in Lamar, in his 2nd year in the league, utilize skills in an unprepared NFL, for his style of play.*** But like all professional teams, they will eventually defensively scheme for him and get to him and eventually he'll have to be able to evolve and adapt....One thing we must remember, in the NFL, everyone is a professional not college players trying to learn to be professionals...it's a grown man's game....
