Aunt Vonda’s is that spot!! You should’ve tried the fish platter with the Mac and cheese and collard greens and also the fried chicken wings with the Mac and cheese and collard greens. Both of those platters were amazing!! The only issue I have with Aunt Vonda’s is she’s not open everyday of the week unless they’ve changed their schedule, but she’s gonna make plenty of bread out here in Newark. Being from Philly myself, I will definitely continue to support. She’s a gem out here trust me

Purchased the lamb cheesesteak tonight. Masterfully done, great flavor - seasoning - and sauce. I definitely recommend this wonderful place. I will be back. And they rep Southwest Philly, I can’t wait to meet the family. Plus, the roll held up all the way through. It’s worth the wait.

I too met Aunt Vonda while visiting her establishment and congratulated her on business in the area. She’s a very sweet woman and I wish her much success. Her food is very good and I look forward to trying the lamb chops next. Watching your presentation them jawns look on point. So I’ll definitely be trying them in the near future

The lamb cheese steak sandwich if there going to feel up the bread,the bread has thick on the inside and soft to the bite.the lamb plate looked cooked very well .the turkey wings are very large the texture is there,they need more black business around.

L😂L I a phone order for 4 platters with 2 sides each ( 2 fish, lamb chops, turkey wings, chicken). I looked at your lamb chop platter, and immediately, I wanted to order one. I only received 4 tough chops on my platter.😮 The food is 10:49 a little salty. The whiting fish was good.
