How the fuck do people play so clean and precise? I just don't understand. I've been trying and trying for years but it's physically impossible. How can people have such control over their hands and fingers? It is absolutely mind blowing and its proof that you have to be born with it and its not fair. Guitarists can move their hands and fingers in ways that most people will never be able to do no matter how much practice because fingers are not designed to move like that are born with it. It's a genetic condition

Great playing, you make it seem so effortless! I've been trying to get this song down for months now. I am very much a beginner on guitar, been a drummer for over 10 years but only about a year ago I realised I wanted to play guitar too. Just been trying to teach myself since then, watching tutorial videos, playing tabs and watching good guitarists like yourself cover songs that I want to play. The bits I'm finding hardest atm are the lick at 0:06 and the bridge at the end that starts at 3:05 . If I try and do them slowly it's OK but up to full speed I find it really hard. Also noticed you play some bits differently to the tab I'm playing from (official tab on Ultimate Guitar). The second part of the bridge at the end is very different in the tab, it goes like this: D : 1 1 A : D : 5 1 5 5 which I'm finding very tricky. Playing that Eb on the 1st fret of the A string doesn't make it any easier either. Also with the chorus where you go 0 1 3 on the low D and then do a pinch harmonic I notice you do that on the 3rd fret, whereas the tab shows the harmonic as being on the 5th fret. But saw a cover by another girl who did the same thing as you, playing the harmonic on the 3rd fret. Would be interested to know, do you learn songs like this by ear or do you use a tab yourself that for whatever reason just has a few differences? I'd actually find it easier not having to go up to the 5th fret to do the harmonic otherwise I have to slide my hand up so I can play that 5th fret with my ring finger, which I find quite hard when it's fast and all palm muted. So I guess if sounds pretty much the same it may be better just to do it the easiest way...
