Lambasingi is a small village in the Chintapalli Mandal of Visakhapatnam district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. This place is often referred as Kashmir of Andhra Pradesh. ...This is the only place in Southern India, where you can experience snowfall sometimes in winter. Even in seasons other than winter, sunlight falls only after 10 AM in the morning and its cold. Araku Valley is a hill station and valley region in the southeastern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

How do I get to Lambasingi?
* The nearest airport from Lambasingi is located in Visakhapatnam and hence, there is no way to reach Lambasingi by air if you are starting your journey at Visakhapatnam. By Rail: The nearest railway station from Lambasingi is located in Chintapalle at a distance of about 20km.
How far is Lambasingi from Araku?
* The distance between Araku Valley and Lambasingi is 70 km. The road distance is 92 km.
What is the best time to visit Lambasingi?
*November to January is usually considered the best time to visit Lambasingi. Nearly four years ago, on January 15, 2012, Lambasingi experienced snowfall. That's right. Temperature does not go below 0° C every year, but when it does, Lambasingi gets an all-white snowy cover!
