I am super excited towatch your videos in KZbin. Your guitar playing is amazing. Apart from that you're a fully equipped humen being who makes this world a better place. Well, @Lambchopper678 I have problem with the sync issue. I have windows platform therefore instead of garageband I use Presonus Studio One as a DAW. I'm not sure that whether it has a audio and video sync function like garageband or not. Therefore I record my audio channels and export them as mp3 files. Then sync (and also edit) them with their related video files using Adobe Premiere Elements (not pro). Sometimes this can be very time consuming and exhausting process. Because Adobe Premiere Elements don't allow to move the files freely on the timeline. Minimum moving distance is limited by the the minimum grids during maximum zoom screen (ufff). Sometimes those grid movements limits you from an exact sync procedure. Do you have any advice for me like upgrading to Premier Pro or else. Anthony, lastly I'll be very appreciate if you take the time and check some of my videos in my Chanel considering synchronization. Thank you very much
@LambChopper6785 жыл бұрын
Totally understand your frustration with the sync. Even on full zoom in premiere it can’t line up the sync very accurately. I think you’ve got to find the right software that works for you. I’ve been using Logic Pro x or GarageBand before that for so long I don’t know what else there is. Maybe it’s time to step up to Cubase or protools, even better get a Mac. Most people talk about their favorite guitar or amp they can’t do without. Mine is the Mac with Logic, Amplitube and Bias

Good job mate! Your covers are amazing!! I have recently started this channel for making covers... I have one little question :) Do you record a video of your actual playing or do you record it first, and then record your self playing it afterwards? Thanks in advance! :)

Are you sending the audio from the amp sim on the Mac out to speakers or monitors, what’s the setup on that. I want to have a similar setup but not have to wear headphones whenever I want to play. Thanks!
@LambChopper6784 жыл бұрын
I prefer headphones but my interface outputs to monitors as well. It’s a matter of turning them on. I use the monitors afterwards for checking and mixing

I’m thinking of grabbing myself one of these Jackson strats, how do you like it? Is it comparable to a fender Strat?
@LambChopper6785 жыл бұрын
Very different, it sits the same but the feel is completely different. Great guitar, much prefer it over a strat any day.
@Iheartdgd5 жыл бұрын
LambChopper678 thanks for the quick reply, I shortly realized how old this video was. My local shop has one so I’m gonna go over though and demo it for a while and see what I can get out of it. I’ve been wanting a Strat lately for the versatility, but I’m not nearly as much of a fender guy as I am for Jackson.

This is more out of curiosity than anything as i'm not planning on doing this kind of thing for possibly years (if ever) but i only use a Windows PC which of course doens't have Garage Band. What software would you recommend replaces Garage Band?
@bradjm91348 жыл бұрын
Tcrumpen You can plug direct into audacity and use that to record, it's much less professional but still works

I was trying to find AmpliTube in the App Store but don't see it available for Mac, just on iOS. Am I looking in the wrong place?
@LambChopper6789 жыл бұрын
It's not an app that you get from the store. Go to ikmultimedia.com, they are the makers of amplitube. You buy it from them direct or eBay
@reckatrem10 жыл бұрын
Are you happy with your monitors dude? I wanna buy some monitors but i cant decide what to buy. People says Those M-Audio's dont have a powerfull bass sound. I mean they say u cant hear bass well is that true
@LambChopper67810 жыл бұрын
I have nothing to compare with. I use them to create my tones on amplitube and they seem to give a pretty clean signal. They could be lower on bass but for the money I think they're great.
@reckatrem10 жыл бұрын
What are their exact models, and if u using t hem for those tones they're really great
@LambChopper67810 жыл бұрын
They're M-audio BX5's, they're the best ones on the bottom of the scale for budget monitors. They do me fine, I haven't had too many complaints about the guitar tones I've created from amplitube.

how do you get rid of latency so that you can play your guitar with the effects in the software?
@LambChopper6789 жыл бұрын
There's a few things that help with latency. The biggest one is your interface, firewire or thunderbolt are super quick at high res. USB is slow, low quality and noisy in most cases. Your project settings in preferences to set the quality at a speed your computer can handle.
@ea-tt10 жыл бұрын
Nice wallpaper. Why dont you play something of DT? Pull me Under, Erotomania, Constant Motion or This Dying Soul (my favorite). EBMM? Amplitube? Im sure you that you are able... BTW: Why don't you use backing tracks? There are many at guitarbackingtrack.com
@LambChopper67810 жыл бұрын
I'll go check out the backing track page. I'm a huge DT fan though, such great musicians and they gel really well together. You like the heavier ones, there's no way I could ever play This Dying Soul. I really like Scenes of a Memory and their big epic songs like Ministry of Lost Souls, Octavarium, The Best of Times and Count of Tuscany etc. I'd love to be able to play them but I didn't want to wreck it for me to listen too. Whenever I learn a song, I tend to destroy it at the same time. I don't even have Metallica, Pantera or Megadeth on my ipod anymore.
@ea-tt10 жыл бұрын
And Fatal Tragedy or the Overture? I dont give up till you make a DT video :) (Or Liquid, like Paradigm shift or Biaxident) PD: in the page not all the songs are "pro" but for dream, megadeth, metallica, a7x, etc. theres a lot of good ones...

And what about the Marshalls that are always behind you in the videos?
@LambChopper67810 жыл бұрын
They're absolutely useless, I occasionally practice through them but sound terrible. They've been in my videos from the start and I figure they look cool so they can stay.
@leotrinds10 жыл бұрын
LambChopper678 . And what about using only the speakers to play live or something like that at least?
@LambChopper67810 жыл бұрын
I have some great amps and speakers, but for youtube covers I like amplitube. Unless I'm going to play live with people, all I use is my computer. Live recording is a pain and takes too much time to set up.
@leotrinds10 жыл бұрын
What amps do you own?
@LambChopper67810 жыл бұрын
Apart from those I have a Dime D100 and a Randall RM20 with 4 modules, Duel Rectifier, Mark V, Kerry King Beast and Kirk Hammett KH2 going into 2 -1x12 cabs with V30's It sounds very cool, it's a shame Randall don't make the MTS modules and amps anymore.
