Probably the best ship developed by Seinar Fleet Systems. But it should of had a bio metric start key because the Rebels seem to be able to Jack these more than a GTA player.

On a side note, the lambda class shuttle toy came with FOUR figures in the first year it came out. At some point they cut that down to 2 and then some had none at all... We used to try and pack as many Chewbacca's into it as we could back in the day...lol.. Also, those fins always broke off and kids would cut out cardboard or whatever and make new fins lol....

Funniest story I have of a Lambda is my invasion fleet in Empire at War. I secured the space above Ryloth and was moving in an entire fleet of these to bring my ground forces to the battle but they were intercepted by several attack wings of X-Wings. I stupidly out no escorts with them (classic imperial arrogance) and had to use one shuttle as bait so I could jump the rest of them out of there. Thankfully it was a AT-ST carrier and not a Storm Trooper Platoon or my AT-AT carriers. Needless to say I always had at least two Tartan Patrol Cruiser with any drop fleet after that.

I've had somewhat similar experiences in some other games I've played. It never hurts to have backup!

Luv your Long Videos! One annoying thing about the shuttle, the actual physical model/stage used in ROTJ for the Emperor's Arrival was Altered to have Actual Clearance for the Ramp. Which is Why is virtually impossible to have Your Lamda and eat it too.

I just watched the clip from The Force Unleashed..Princess Leia under senate guard lands on Kashyyyk...in a Lambda class!! I'd forgotten Senators used them too!!

Yeah! The Rebels got their hands on some as well as some mercenaries, so they were pretty popular with all kinds of people and groups!

the lambda shuttle was flyable in Star wars Jedi knight jedi acadamy instead of a rear gun it had a space mine layer as it's secondary gun. again most maps in jedi academy multiplayer you'll need a large map to fly it in.

You forgot one interesting tidbit about the Lambda Shuttle. The shuttle makes an appearance in the tv show Firefly.

Do you think the wings extended in flight boosted the shield coverage..? As I think that was case with the Theta one Palpatine used early in reign.. and I think same idea for shield envelope with Kylo's shuttle maybe? (Not sure if are shield projectors built into wings though!?) 😆

Hmmm, good question. I'm not sure what the correct answer to that would be, as some ships have different shield generators than others, and how they operate is somewhat of a gray area in the lore. Your theory may indeed be the correct one!
