Love the idea of blowing out the candle and relighting it to symbolise the renewal of God’s Grace on turning around in repentance.

Saying sorry, not only helps others, it makes us feel better about ourselves.

During this time of no church services and meetings, we are using these videos in our weekly virtual Housegroup meetings (Bible study), We all agree how helpful they are and thank you for them. However there is a criticism, not of the content, that is really helpful, but the actual presentation and that is the background music, some of us find it unnecessary and distracting.

Very helpful and practical teaching. Prayer is heart to heart, seeking His face. The only improvement would be to turn the background music down or off! I hope you will make more teaching available soon. May God bless you and your family.

Please could I ask a question, Archbishop Justin. I’ve been struggling with it since I started to read the Bible more and tray to pray with more thanks, love and meaning. Some years ago, I took a decision in life that I bitterly regretted later on. I found myself blaming God for the outcome when really, it was my own decision and I knew at the time, my instinct was that it wasn’t the best decision for me. I was so angry ( with myself really ), and directed that anger to God. I recall walking my dog, in tears, swearing at God asking how dare he let me make this daft decision! Reading the Bible now, I understand that blasphemy against God can never be forgiven. Jesus told us this. What can I do, nonetheless, to seek forgiveness, if I can? Thank you and God bless you.

If you are sorry for saying anything bad to God, then He has already forgiven you. Jesus has died for you and loves you.
