I love Josh Scogin. First saw Luti-Kriss in July 2000, and have been a fan ever since. Really enjoying the video so far (23 minutes in)

Been listening to Scogin’s projects since H.S 👍🏽 I’m still holding out for another “A Rose, By Any Other Name” album 🤞🏽

This might be my favorite podcast (from LG) thus far. It’s always a pleasure of mine listening to Mr. Scogin speak. His humility, sense of humor, and storytelling abilities are enjoyable. Good job, Lambgoat! ✌🏻🙏🏻

“Horror chords.” Nailed it, Josh! Bless the Martyr is one of the only heavy albums that sounds genuinely frightening, in a good way. All metalcore bands afterward sounded like “happy core.” Thanks for this interview.

Always loved whatever Josh is doing musically. First listened to the album Bless The Martyr during my freshman high school 2004 and later got into The Chariot.... LOVE JOSH!!!

7 years ago today one of the biggest (and now most controversial) metalcore bands released their final album before going on hiatus

Love this podcast, you do a fantastic job. You should get Norma Jean, Greyhaven-, Vein, Seizures, northlane, Erra on here
@lambgoat5 жыл бұрын
Most of those bands are on the list to have on, unfortunately Greyhaven is on the tour with '68 but we did not have the time to also have them on.
@lovesgibson4 жыл бұрын
I totally understand Josh not wanting to just talk about the previous bands he was in... but honestly now that the two original guitarists and original drummer of Norma Jean are no longer in the band, it would be so awesome if they all linked up to make some new music. The Luti-Kriss and early Norma Jean had such amazing music it’s sad we didn’t get to hear more from the original line up.

Josh is the man. I love this interview. Just one question, why does no one ever ask him about Luti-kriss?
@lambgoat3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I think the reason we probably didn't bring it up was that he already has talked about it at length before. Not to say if we ever have Josh back on we wouldn't ask him then if we had more time. ;)

"Chicken Wings?" Love it! Awesome podcast! Been long time fan of Josh since late Norma Jean / early Chariot era. I can definitely say his comment at 1:16:40 is spot on. 1:22:50 Thank you so much for talking about Elvis and Cash driving themselves. Loved talking about accidentally driving into another state haha. 1:39:25 awesome story about one of my favorite songs!

28 minutes in and no real discussion of music yet, wow. Glad others enjoy this, but I'm bailing.
@lambgoat2 жыл бұрын
These are more in-depth conversations based on the artist as an individual. We do tend to discuss music obviously but that isn't the main goal. Its to learn more about the artists/bands. You can find a standard interview where they ask the same dumb questions over and over again anywhere else on youtube.
@wychwoodmusic2 жыл бұрын
@@lambgoat ...I guess it's telling that you seem to think people can't ask smart or original questions about music. It's cool that you like rambling about diet and exercise for half an hour with musicians, lots of people seem to enjoy it, it's just not for me.
