Ella and the family have watched every video and loved every minute and loved coming to the farm and helping for a few days. The best part of all is having the 11 crazy cades. The kids and neighbours have loved having them round. 🐑

Thanks for taking us along on your lambing journey. The weather was horrible for UK and Ireland and so many farmers had trouble this year. At the end showing the sheep and all the lambs on the green fields was beautiful.

With the horrendously wet weather, you have been incredibly fortunate to lamb your ewes indoors this season. Glad it won’t be long for all the flock to be outdoors again.❤️🐑

Thank you for taking us along. It has been a rough lambing season with losses, flooding and horrible weather, but you have carried on and should be proud of what you and your team have accomplished. Next year will be bigger and better. 😊❤️

Congratulations on nearing the end of lambing. Your lambs look great. Especially the Suffolk crosses 😉 Love the bunny sheep too even if they are fair weather sheep 😁 I especially loved the drone footage of everyone in the fields at the end - just beautiful! I want to get a drone too but I'm afraid it will be hard to learn...I am tech-challenged. Things will be awesome next year for you once those ewes are vaccinated so don't stress about it rhis time around.

Love the videos. Could you put the banners at the top of the screen instead of the bottom? They sometimes block what you're trying to show us.

Do you know they aborted because you scanned them and they should have been pregnant? I wonder sometimes when ewes are culled if it's a bad ewe or a lazy ram or ineffective ram. How would you know?

He did quite a bit of vet testing and isolated the disease. There is a vaccine but not so easy to get in UK. He is going to try to get the vaccine for next year.

@@999Giustina Thank you. Will seems very conscientious about his sheep. Just curious as to why things happen.
@rebeccarowlands30167 ай бұрын
At scanning they would have scanned in lamb. I believe scanning happens around 3 months(?) gestation. Lambs are born well after that and the aborting happened 1 month ish give or take a few weeks before lambing. Sad but apart of live stock farming. Can’t prevent it happening again until after it happens in ‘mass’ the first time. All he can do is try to prevent next lambing 😊
