A rematch that is not staged would be great, you didn't do launch control because you knew that the Durango's torque curve is fat enough to support no launch control, whereas the Lamborghini's naturally aspirated V12 engine features a completely different more high RPM oriented torque curve, causing it to bog down on launch, and thus lose easily. 0-60 in the Lamborghini is 4 seconds without launch control so that will translate to a 1/4 mile time of over 11.5s Both should use launch control and also show the 1/4 mile times, both will probably be in the high 10's.

if u look closely on that durango, he does not use launch controll too, he just press brake and gas together but that gets him up to 1500-2000rpm or so, if he would use launch controll in durango he would be staying at 3,5k-4k rpm and would be much louder.

@@MLProductions.1 Maybe you didn’t read what I wrote, anyway like I said the C8 kept up with the Durango hellcat even off the line(Durango was ahead)but murdered it after that with only 495bhp so it had over 200bhp on the vette and still is way slower the aventador had about 740bhp and is geared higher so if it’s not using launch control takes it a while to get in it’s power band and even though it would be down around 260bhp or so it’s not enough to overcome the more than 2000+ pound weight disadvantage……….that’s why we didn’t get a roll race because it wouldn’t highlight the product they’re trying to sell. This was staged with a outcome they knew what would happen. 👌🏽

The Aventador has all of it's power in the top end. The Durango has a ton of low end power so it has quicker acceleration. I bet the Avetador would catch up if they had a 1/2 to a full mile track!

Yep it's the gold standard here on KZbin to take heavily modified whatever and beat a Lamborghini in the quarter and everyone oohs and ahs at the super car getting beat. Lambo Aventador has one of the best launch being an AWD supercar, even 720S can't beat its launch even though a few seconds later 720S should already overtake the Lambo. So I doubt the result of this race since normally, even a 1000bhp supercar would launch similarly from a standstill before their powers kick in after a few seconds.

It is staged. The Aventador is shifting way too slowly and it did not spin at all off the line. If you watch pretty much any other video with the Aventador, you will notice the shifts are almost instant and it spins off the line.

first off the lambo is stock n/a. second cars don't only drive in a straight line. the Hennessey upgrade which is very impressive is still not practical. which is prolly the point when you have money and gas to blow lol.

It's not an excuse, you have to understand how engine powerbands work and compare em to determine that this is staged, High revving V12 will not have enough torque to have any serious pulling on the launch without LC, whereas the Supercharged V8 in the Durango has excellent torque down low allowing it to easily win from the dig. Makes it look more impressive as well.
