I don't feel soul in this thing at all; both it and the Gallardo are just so...dull. While I enjoy some of Lambo's modern work-the Aventador, for instance-I think they lost their delicious madness when the last Diablo rolled out of the factory. Maybe there's hope, though; the Sesto Elemento seems to have a bit of mania in it.

I honestly still believe that the Murcielago defined the Lamborghini breed better than any other. It was the combination of the sound, the breathtaking acceleration and the mixture of beauty and aggression that created its aesthetics. That's what Ferrucio wanted, his cars were an outright statement to Ferrari that power and looks would trump anything else, and no model fulfilled that statement better than the Murcielago. Hats off to you Mr Clarkson, for one of the best reviews of all time.

What is truly amazing nowadays is that as time goes by, as the decades fly by, HP increases so much. I remember way back in 97' when the diablo sv was alive and i thought that 520 HP was so much! but now, th most powerful lambo has more than 665 HP and goes like nothing ive ever witnessed. Plus, the most powerful production car is always getting more and more outrageous :D I can not wait until the new replacement comes out!

You're right... And the most comments you've made here are also true. Lambo has the true pedigree of a super/hyper car. I agree, it's just like Clarkson was mixing that cocktail that was called "Murcielago" i.e.: Add power, sound, looks (Gin, Vodka, Brandy, Liquor) ,etc... And then add some German common sense ( Orange juice), which was a few drops. That's basically the part Audi has in such a car. Only minor details... The soul of the car is purely Italian.

@MrMAN2797 The golf is accelerating all along. The wheel's rotation just got in sync with the video fps and the rims appeared to stop until they got even faster. You can do this with a strobe light and any rotating wheel to make it appear to stop while it's actually spinning.

Looking again, i think the tpw (turn per wheel) seems to be in sync with the camera's fps for a slight second too.

the framerates matched the rotation of the rims....like that other video....i forget what it's called but it's an open seated car that is silver and there was like a sideview where the rims aren't moving

The point Im making is that Audi control, and design everything, Lambo is just a pretty name in the handbook. It is this that is used for Marketing Leverage, Audi looks after the engineering side. If you were ever in the Factory, and met the Engineers/techs you would understand.
