Context: A Lamborghini driver was seriously injured in a crash on Del Dios Highway in North County, California. The black Lamborghini veered off the highway, crashing into a pole (see last part of the video). Witnesses reported excessive speed. After the collision, the Lamborghini caught fire, but the driver managed to exit the vehicle. The Escondido Fire Department confirmed both lanes of the highway were blocked, with traffic being diverted to roads near Lake Hodges in Del Dios. The injured driver was transported to Palomar Memorial Hospital in Escondido. SDG&E was called to address the damaged pole. Further details about the incident are not known!

that's the problem with mid engine cars .. the moment the ass end slides, and you even so much as think of counter steering, you are whipping off the road in the direction you counter steered into, which turns the car around backwards as all the weight is in the rear... essentially you turn into a Disney bomb...😅 gravity is a bitch.. but that layout is great for super cars for some reason... 🤷 can only cheat gravity so much i guess... then you start playing with fire🔥

Informational Context: A Lamborghini Murcielago driver was in critical condition after an accident on Del Dios Highway in North County near the Interstate 15 Freeway near San Diego, California. The Lamborghini veered off the highway, slamming into a street pole. The incident started in Del Dios, California at 9:39 AM in San Diego County. Witnesses reported it was speeding down near Elm Lane and the driver of the Lamborghini was seriously injured. Saturday, a California Highway Patrol Incident was reported. The driver was hospitalized with major injuries according to the California Highway Patrol Safety Inspection. The Lamborghini caught fire after the impact and the driver was outside the vehicle authorities spoken. The Escondido Fire Department was reported at 9:50 AM ET that both lanes of the highway will be block until futher notice, and that at 10:09 AM, traffic was being diverted to nearby roads in Del Dios. The injured driver was taken to Palomar Memorial Hospital in Escondido, the CHP said. SDG&E was reported for broken pole and was on-scene at 11:33 AM as vehicle repairs and the street light will be covered by the city of San Diego.
